From Left to Right: Andrew Riedner, Dr. Clement Riedner and Matthew Riedner

This is a current (November 2009), listing of active members of the Shiho Karano Kan. These are individuals who have trained with Head Family within the last year and/or are actively teaching one of the Family Ryu-Wa and in close relationship/contact with Head Family. There are many more Dan and Shihan ranked individuals who are not listed due to their not having been in contact with Head Family for several years and thus are not considered members in good standing with the KAN. It must be clarified that Shiho Karano Ryu is a vibrant, growing and developing Art. Individuals who received a Dan and especially a Shihan ranking several years ago would soon find themselves a bit lost if they were to return to the mat with our present Shihan. This is due to the ever increasing knowledge level of our actively training family members.

The Kan is open to individuals who fall into one of the following categories:

1. A person must be a Shodai Soke recognized by and in current fellowship with Shiho Karano head family
2. A person must be an inheritor or member of another Head Family   recognized by and in current fellowship with Shiho Karano head Family
3. A person must have an earned Yondan rank in one of the five Shiho Karano Ryu Wa’s (Karate, Kobudo, Iaido, Kenpo Jitsu, Ju Jitsu) including Ba Men Chuan Fa

Below is a listing of individuals who have an earned Yondan rank (4th Dan) or higher in one of the five Ryu-Was including Ba Men Chaun Fa who are in current fellowship with head Family.
